Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes-Leukemia



In the book "Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes", Sadako Sasaki is diagnosed with the disease leukemia. Describe Sadako and the disease leukemia.

Sadako has leukemia. Sadako is not contagious. Leukemia is a blood disease. There is acute and chronic leukemia. A cause of leukemia is radiation. Sadako is in a running team.
She is 11 years old. Sadako works together and she believes good luck signs.

Sadako has a big family. Sadako lives in Hiroshima, Japan. She likes the Peace Day celebration. Sadako likes food at the celebration. Sadako father owns a barber shop. She prays to her Grandmother.

Sadako is eleven years old. Sadako lives in Hiroshima, Japan. When she was two years old when the atom bomb hit. Her father Mr. Sasaki owns a barbershop. In chapter four Sadako finds out that she may have leukemia. Leukemia that is a type of disease that can make you very sick or even die. One other fact about leukemia is that there is more then one type, like acute leukemia.
